As with the SpeedGeeking at Mashup Camp 1, we'll be using SpeedGeeking (like speed dating) to judge the best mashups. If you're entering the best mashup contest, be sure to list your entry(ies) below

- PhoTiger - Ruby on Rails mashup which auto-tags Riya photos based on Spongecell and Eventful event data (about PhoTiger)
- Pubwalk - Event planning mashup based on Citysearch with mobile component integrated with Dodgeball
- ElephantDrive - C# online backup and storage application, which utilizes multiple storage services and devices (including Amazon's S3) and integrates third party software modules (like Intel's Mobility SDK).
- TrainCheck - Django powered SMS transit information delivery system. Free to Google Co-op users and anyone with an SMS or email enabled cellular phone.
- Xinlogic - RSS feeds (news, podcasts, etc.) organized in a multifaceted taxonomy with the support of a semantic search engine. Combine browsing and searching in one unified platform. Implemented with a special technology for capturing taxonomies and with Ruby on Rails.
- ZeeMaps by Claire. Easily create and analyze a Google map with markers representing your own points of interest. Allows import of CSV files, and queries on entry attributes. Built using Java, JSP, Servlets, and Postgresql with Postgis extensions.
- Frappr! - See where all your friends are! Create a map of your MySpace friends or any other group - plus add places, photos and chat together live.
- Commendo Voyager - Create personal and portable video PIPs (Picture in Picture) blog and map mashups. Video Collection site Video viewing site
- hotcaptcha - turn your annoying captcha into a good time, while adding a whole new level of security to your website. (implemented in Python with TurboGears; uses HotOrNot API)
- GoodStorm.com - Allows anyone to instantly setup an online store through our open APIs and an AJAX store creation app that lets you to populate your store and embed it right on your blog or website. You can select from millions of book, music, movie, and video game titles. You can also build your own (iPod-ready) digital music store, or upload your own items for sale. (API implemented in Python with TurboGears; stores built in Flash and AJAX)
- SecretPrices.com - An integrated price comparison, coupons, deals, and reviews site drawing from data sources of Shopping.com (Epinions), Amazon and others. ASP.NET backend.
- Frucall - A very easy to use (for just about any average consumer with a vanilla cell phone) mobile comparison shopping service. User, while shopping in-store, calls a free phone number (1-888-DO-FRUCALL), enters a product barcode, and hears the best online prices, customer ratings, etc. Comes with dditional features such as bookmarking from the phone, voice-based social networking, etc. Amazon, Yahoo! Shopping, and StreetPrices.com backend.
- UMPC Shopper - C# Native mashup on Origami/UMPC hardware, decodes barcodes from images, pulls product information from Amazon. Based on your detected location, retrieves local stores from Yahoo! Local, and displays Google maps and directions to local stores and the ability to purchase from Amazon.
- Chunk Love - I started this mashup yesterday. Vote on the idea, not the UI :) The first functionality is a shopping registry mashup. The user enters name and location data once, and it will go to a dozen major registry sites to collect and present possible match data from all of them in one place. It's long term goal will be a personal shopping portal where users will see collected data from hot deal sites, coupon code sites, etc. There are more long terms goals, come and see me! - MileGuru - As a hobby, I built a C#/ASP.NET app (with a Windows Live widget) that scrapes your travel data from a number of different airline/rental/hotel sites and shows it all in one place. I'm looking for your input - is it a mindless diversion for travel uber-geeks or a threat to the hegemony of the faceless travel industry data-crunching super-computing juggernaught? [Chad.depue]
- Tejit - Tejit(in alpha-mode) takes your conversation beyond inline comments and trackbacks. It is a REST-ful service to track discussions around your blog posts, and embed it within your blog using plugins. We're also launching a bookmarklet for Bloglines, where you can read the conversation around top 200 blogs without going to Technorati, Sphere or other blog search engine.Your blog would like this if it is enabled with the service (Click on "Who else is talking about this?" link below the cartoon)
- GCalMap - visualize any (Google) Calendar on a (Google) Map. Made with a few fun tools. Details on this post
- AMUMU - A Music Mashup. Automatically builds a slideshow to accompany a song from the song's lyrics. Uses web-based image searching services, and is written in Python and Javascript.

- SpiffySearch Yahoo! Search APIs (demoed on table #4, sorry for the confusion!)
- MASHUP CAMP WINNER!!! WeatherBonk - microclimate weather mapping. Built on java-based 'Bonk' platform for rapid mashup development. JAVA/Hibernate/JSP/Javascript. Also GolfBonk and SkiBonk.
- MapNewOrleans - Open content (wiki-style) mapping portal to enable discussion about spatial issues regarding reconstruction in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Uses GoogleMaps API, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP and MYSQL. Best viewed in Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
