Can end users build these things? Can we make it possible for users to leverage these big chunky services to build mashups or custom apps?
What are the tradeoffs of browser-based "development environment" vs. thick-client?
- Browser lowers barrier of entry, eases deployment, users comfortable in the browser, etc.
  - Once set up, the real IDE should be more convenient/powerful to use, full access to host systems UI toolkit, etc.
